Our dear friend, Alana, came to visit from Michigan last weekend with her gorgeous baby, Rhys. Her birthday was on Friday, so we obviously had to celebrate by throwing a little party! We made homemade pizzas, raw chocolate SunButter cups, and carrot cake cupcakes. The cupcakes were all Samantha- she is seriously becoming the frosting QUEEN. We also had punch, cookies from Trader Joe's, and Reese's peanut butter cups (because Alana loves them!) Zandros threw us for a loop when he told us (minutes before the party started) that it was ALSO his Pokemon friends' (19 of them) birthdays as well, so the party had to be a joint one. We did what we could and luckily he was there to help blow out the candles.
It was so much fun and it was so wonderful to see Alana, Rhys, and Paige, a friend we met at Alana's wedding a couple of years ago (she's so lovely!) We were bummed that Alana's husband David and some of our other friends couldn't make it, but it was still a blast and we can't wait to see them again (hopefully soon!) xx Courtney and Samantha
